Mileto’s on Chapel Street, Windsor is the perfect antidote. Homestyle breakfasts are dished up in spacious and laid-back surrounds with gourmet delights on display tempting the purchase of some take-home treats.
The food, however, fails to impress. Guacamole bursting with red onions is no substitute for fresh avocado and the absence of feta leaves a gaping hole in the ‘spreadable’ options one so desperately seeks when compiling the perfect eggs & sides combination. Under-seasoned mushrooms and over-poached eggs make this breakfast bloggers’ heart sink a little bit further.
A welcoming ambience and cheery service are an encouraging start - and with a little more attention to detail in the kitchen, Mileto’s could transform into a south-side favourite.
